This one amazes me ,i decided to changed my chaincase oil and put amsoil synthetic in before a run i am going on this weekend i pulled the chain case cover off and to my amazement there was a collar floating around in the chaincase tried to figure out were it went but was stumped,went online to oem parts and i was shocked when i saw where the collar was suposed to go, there are two collars one in behind each gear well the one behind the top gear was there but the one behind the bottom gear was the one floating around the chaincase why it did not blow up my chaincase i will never know did som pretty fast wot runs and the only problem i ever had was ratcheting go figure the only thing that i can see is the previos owner told me that he had broken the chain and had replaced it probably didnt know were that collar went anyway glad that i changed the chain case oil and prevented a huge problem.

Yea i think so what i cant figure out is that there was no marks on the collar or signs of that thing banging around in there and without that collar in behind the bottom gear that means that there was play and the top and bottom were out of alignment hope no dammaged to the chain was caused?
