I now have 2 sxr 700's and i only have 1 GREEN Yamaha secondary spring and I want to run a green in both sleds..... so.....

I have a Yamaha silver
I have a Yamaha red

can I set the wrap on either the SILVER or the RED to get it close to a GREEN setting just to get by??

Example:

GREEN @80 wrap is what i want, can i get it CLOSE to a green setting by any of the following combinations?

maybe:

Silver @ 60
or
Red @100 or something, or will that just plain NOT WORK???

So lets say i want green @60 wrap...... I could use silver @30 wrap and that should be close??
I don't know..johnny you got any specs for these two springs??
we know what the red and green do.

can you pick up another green???

I'm running 8ca's with 2.4g in the tip....47/41 helix (calls for a green @60 wrap)
I was going to try a silver in there

I can't get you spot on its going to take a little testing!!! I would say about t 50 wrap with a silver should be close.....here are the numbers green spring is 848 kgf and the silver is 965kgf. I would say start at 50 wrap and see if it will back shift enough or slip....If you can get away with it try 40.....Only testing will tell!!!!!!Best I can do!!!!!!

Set up the one sled with the green and go run it, take the secondary off and put the other on with the red in it, go run it and tigten it till it's the same, probably 100 will do
