Get some adjustable transfer rods!!!!!!! They are awesome!
You know the funny thing, I have adjustable transfer rods as well and it doesnt really seem to help me on lakes, oh I know why I NEED STUDS!!! Get some transfer rods and you will hook up trust me!

Kind of off topic but..... Coles55, how do you like that 1.25 Ice Ripper???
Its nice on snow and in powder, but on ice its ok. I liked my old track 1" Hacksaw with 1.25 studs and that was nicer!

I have the Adjustable transfer rods not to sure which way or how to adjust them though
I have my "nuts" all the way down I believe, and it gives me great traction. Just test it out, put them all the way up and keep going until you find a spot that you feel is the best...

I have the 1.25 Ripsaw... made a huge difference in hookup... hated my .9 Yamatrack with 192 studs... sucked on everything except cleaned hardpack/ice, which I avoid (no lube, no cushion, no fun IMO). Still want adj rods though for more transfer when racin' the boys. One thing with the 1.25... howls like a bugger, and lost top end to about 96mph on GPS.
FWIW, I've taken down an 02 SRX and an 02 Viper this year, been even with a ZR800 and ZRT600 when I could hook (they were studded), cant catch those pesky F7s though. Pretty happy, but I think I can do a bit more. Gonna re-gear this week and maybe head gasket mod, see what happens.

I dont see any "nuts" on mine I think they are the quick adjustable ones where you dont need any tools but still not sure how to adjust them
