Okay guys, I was on vacation for a week at the cottage and I tried making some adjustments to make my Viper pull the skis a little bit.
I put my transfer rods to the redline, loosened out my straps, but no difference. I was not able to adjust centre shock spring preload however. I didn't have any tools in my kit to do that. Has anyone made these adjustments before?
My Viper on it's side... trying to make the center shock adjustment.

See where my limiter straps were originally. See next picture for where I adjusted both of them to.

I could not get the gold/brass colour nut and the aluminum adjustment nuts to turn. I was using a single ski-doo adjustment tool to try the adjustment.

I adjusted mine when I pulled the ski out. Soak it with pb blaster and use a small pipe wrench, its kinda a pita but its doable.

I sent my shocks to Pioneer and they did a awesome job. In order for you to adjust the rear shocks you need two shock wrenches.

Pioneer re-valve shock settings:
Ski Shock Spring Setting: 10 1/8" (257 millimeters)
Center Shock Spring Settings: 8 3/16 (207 millimeters)
Rear Shock Spring Settings: 14 5/8 (372 millimeters)
Limiter Strap Settings: 1" (25 millimeters)

Remember this setup is if your shocks were re-valved by Pioneer.

I was really hoping to adjust this while it was in thee skid. I guess I can't do that.
Looks like I'd also I have to buy the shock wrenches then correct?

ahh... good idea!
My spring was so loose that I could turn it by hand. It really needs to tightened up.

I noticed that the full rate adjuster is in the center position, try it in the soft position and it should give you more transfer. It's a pretty quick adjustment if you don't get the desired results.

I installed a seat riser and now it pulls the front end more than I could ever get it to before. Its awesome!

Are those measurements the length of the spring?? What did revalving do... make them easier to compress? I have my FRA in the soft position, with minimal preload... NEVER bottom it out... I think it could be alot softer. How much is revalving? Does this help rebounding? I can jump on mine, and it takes 2 sec to rebound fully, seems awfully long. :dunno:

I adjusted the other strap after taking the picture. Both are now equal.
I guess I will try the quick FRA adjustment! Pretty simple to do.
