Does any one know what i will be gaining by adding hauck growlers on my srx 600 triple, i was wondering how much weight it will loose and how much power my sled will gain, im running triple pipes also and triple canisters

they are loud you'll lose hp and it sounds like you are not going to lose much weight because you already have stingers. you're wallet will hate you paying all the fines.

No i dont have stingers on it, i got a huge f'en muffler man, and besides that they are suppose to add horsepower

you're original post says you have triple pipes and triple canisters. but forget all that you'll save weight over the stock can. but you will lose horsepower or the stock can if you are looking for performance yamaha had it figured out already for you and they did all the work, leave it stock.

i had them on my '99 700 srx and they sucked. pto would always foul plugs within seconds. put stock can on and ran fine. sold them on ebay. thats how good they are. also sounded terrible. like a sick arctic cat triple:)

I ran a set for a couple years and had good luck with them. Sled pulled the same clutching as with the stock can so the power loss/gain was negligable. My wife didn't mind the sound of them and she's a stickler for loud pipes. I am currently running a power inc. can and the only difference I see is the tone of them. The hauck is crackier and the power inc is more industrial sounding ( to me anyways.)

You will not gain any horsepower, most likely will end up loosing 4 hp give or take..... But you will get a nice 160 dollar fine for noise... But buddy has a can on his sled, bought it used from the dealer with the can on it, which i thought dealers can't sell products that are illegal according to the DNR, But he got a nice ticket in the mail.... save your self the hassle, all you will gain is sound,

Btw: my buddy is going to the dealer and telling them to put a stock can back in or its going to the Small claims court...
