I highly doubt that the suspension works any different with the added 7 lbs....but the addition of an edge skid...well now we're talking.. LOL
does anyone know if the viper seat riser will work on srx

sure it will...I just don't know if it will sit as flush with the seat like viper seat. I replaced the seat on my SXR with a viper seat and plan to make another riser for the SXR.

It's not as wide so it sits better against the tunnel when adding a riser. The sxr seat would have worked, but i don't think it would have looked as good being that it bulges out much further than the viper seat. Plus i couldn't stand the "sinking" feeling of the sx/sxr seat. I know some prefer it, but I like the viper seat for up and down style riding. It's also a few lbs lighter than the sxr seat. With viper seat, the seat riser looks OEM.
