I have a 02 viper, bender pipes, i jumpered to 170 mains after a burn down center piston. now it only pulls 7500 rpm. possibly to rich on top? real blubbery after half throttle. i had 165 mains before. any ideas

How's jetting look??
run through your ranges low mid top pulling the plugs..
power valves working and adjusted right,none pulled????

well the warmer it get's power goes down,,they run richer to a point as the temp goes up...

How dialed is the jetting? The change in temperature will make it run richer the second day. If it was already running fat, the higher temp could have made it perform the way you describe. I would do plug checks for jetting for a start.
