Well we went out for what we thought might be the last ride of the season. Snow was a little skimpy but it was riding. After riding all day we got about 1/4 mile from where we started and things went bad. Came over a knoll and hit some frozen ruts in the field. Well that took all thought out of maybe getting another ride in this year...lol. Not sure if ill fix it or part it out.

oh no!!that sucks for sure!same thing happened to me at the beginning of the season ,dec 18!fortunatly i only broke my elbow and my pals polaris haha!!
 
Fix it!!!!

it's not that bad,sell the other Olins to help pay and get some stock shocks
look on the site here for used part's
 
Yeah just not sure how much more cash i want to sink in this sled. I`ll either fix it or part it out and buy something else
Worst part about the whole deal is that my girlfriend crashed her sled last week and it`s in the shop getting fixed. So she wanted to ride on back for a while. Well she rode with me for an hour and was on when we hit the ruts. We actually were only going about 30mph and it wasn`t even that hard of a hit but enough for her to go off the side. Well ended up at the ER all night and got home at 7 this morning. Messed her knee up good and hurt her back. Now she is on bedrest and cant hardly move. I knew better than to ride double in the 1st place!

Thats one of the biggest reasons i still ride my srx! The new sleds will not take the abuse that the older sleds will. Really it isnt that bad. New trailing arm, radius rods, shock , and rear trailing arm mount and she will be good to go.
 
Got parts

I've got a set of stock front shocks in good shape and some radius rods in excellent shape. Will sell you all for $50 plus shipping. Like to see you back up and running. Cant help you with the trailing arm, sorry.

Actually none of the above. I believe what happened is when i dropped into the ruts they hit inside my ski right on the radius rods. In turn that just pushed everything backwards. I didnt go off the sled nor was it an instant stop. I was very surprised to see the damage as i didnt think i hit that hard.
