Viper Temp Light....No Codes

My viper temp light comes on with the caution light and blinks 8 times when I am trail riding between 30-60 mph. When I hit the throttle harder it stops and doesn't return until I slow down. I don't see a self diagnotics for this pattern in the manual...could it be a bad thermostat or temp sensor??? Or maybe the viper is just trying to tell me that it wants to run at 85mph!!!!!!

Suggestions anyone???

You sure it's 8 times and not 7???

power valves clean and adjusted right??

Also 8 could be thermo sensor short circuit or disconnected..check that out.

ya I hear ya but why does it stop when I hit the throttle

dunno,,thats why i suspec the PV's(servo), but if your getting a Code 8
thats thermo sensor short circuit or disconnected,from what i'm seeing,
check into that area then go from there..
