Jack shaft bearing question

Does my 1998 700 V-Max XT and 2000 SX700R have sealed jack shaft bearings? I can not for the life of me see where to grease them. Thanks in advance!

I take it you can remove that small allen screw to grease it. I doubt that I will bother. I am planning to take maybe a 350 mile round trip on Thursday to the Minocqua, WI area and wanted a little insurance. I hope the rain didn't mess things up there too bad. Thanks daman!

No, put the needle fitting between the seal and the inner bearing race and put in just a little.If you push the seal in and it stay gently pull it back out so it pops back in its groove, you don't want contamination in there.Its a small needle like a medical needle, I had to special order mine.
