Hey guys, well after many second thoughts for awhile about changing m y steering shaft on my 99 SRX 600, my buddy and I finally attempted it and did NOT have to pull the motor. back 2 motor mounts were out and the front 2 were lose and I took off the clutch side manifold so we could get our hand underneath the motor. the clutch was off to so we could reach in the clutch opening in the cross member too. the recoil side cross memeber came out and the clutch side one bent out slightly to prop the motor up forward and we did it with some scraped knuckels but we did it.
Thanks for all the parts from guys on here and the tips.
