When do they stop grooming for the season in the U.P.?

trails close april 1st, i believe they groom up until that date as long as there is enough snow on the trails so their groomer skid doesnt catch rocks.
And they have funds left or volunteers.

i believe the majority of the groomers are volunteers, but i am not 100% sure on that.
I meant volunteers to put fuel in them . . .
I know a few of the guys around Curtis and Newberry and they sometimes take the rigs out in the late season on their own, just to have good riding themselves. There of course has to still be enough snow left.
The cost of sleddin' sometimes can be heavy.

Very very true. And it is definately NOT a cheap undertaking to keep fuel in those groomers. Sno-cats don't get very good mileage
