Any body know what type and dimension the oil seal (chaincase) is on an 02 SRX, lost a bearing(lower) last and i know it's a 6205 but i need to know the dimensions of the lower seal ID, OD , width and single or double lip?Is the seal the same dimensions as the bearing(od id)?
I can get these through my work today (or same day) and i'm afraid the local yamaha dealer may not be able to get them in time for my to fix it and ride this SAT.(big trip planned) I did not have time to totally tear it down last night as it was late(by the time i got home),i just determined it was the lower bearing and thats as far as i got......Is the seal the same
Thanks!

yes ,ID, OD ,width and the type of lip (double or single)
I am a millwright by trade and have a complete set of books to order seals and bearings etc. however there are about 10-15 seals avail. through an industrial supplier that are listed for this bearing application .there doesn't seem to be a universal numerical system for seals (like bearings etc. 6205) if you can read the #'s on it that would be great too!...I have ordered a new seal through my local dealer( you never know with them) but i can get one the same day through work (if i know the one i want) by dimensions and type. I don't care where it comes from ,as long as i get it together for this weekend ...Your Help is much appreciated!

OK thanks again! Once i get this straightened out, i will post all the dimensions for everyone and bearing crossovers so if someone is in a pinch they can get this stuff anywhere.
