Nope. It's a Big Bore kit. You can get one for your Vipe.
LOL, thats what I was thinking too!!jmp2204 said:MY God i like your garage!

thanks guy's this srx is an maxx performance 780 big bore. it runs real nice. have put over 5000 miles on it. we had a problem at 500 miles and rebuilt it with our own pistons. we copied the maxx stuff. we use artic cat pistons.

how ya like the 780? im thinking about a hauck big bore this off-season....
I am concidering a BB kit on my srx soon. Its getting up on the KM and instead of a stock rebuild why not BB it!
i like this big bore makes more torque and sound great no problems at all. the current bb i have is home grown but works fine. the 780 cc is a bout all you want to take out of a srx cylinder. there is just not enough meat on the cylinder wall to take the heat. i run red line oil and have the jetting right on. this sled just flat out rips. here is some more pics of the srxs

800 Srx?
Yamaha never made any?
Sure they did, 01' sno cross triples were factory 800SRX motors. Too bad that wasn't the 03' SRX, made 167hp@8600 with Bender trail pipes and stock from the factory cyls.

NICE SLED. AND COOL THE WAY YOU DID THE 800 DECALS. I BET YOU GET ASKED ALOT ABOUT WHEN DID YAMAHA MAKE THE SRX 800. lol. 3:16 (yammie tony)
800, I WAS AT THE DEALER SHOW WHEN THE SRX WAS DONE. 2003. I ASKED THE REP WHY KNOW SRX 800. HIS WORDS. '' WE BEAT EVERYBODY ELSE 800 WITH A 700 '' 3:16 (yammie tony)

Yep, I know but, with the 800 we could have anything else, period. You know Yammie always makes the last model year of any model "unique" ala the SX Exciter and the ViperS, so I really expected it since they already made the molds and the parts were tested. It would have been too easy to do.
thanks the decals were custom made the day we got the sled we were in the up in 2000 and a group of guy's would not leave us alone the were asking if we were from yamaha and if this was a prototype 800. we always get a ton of looks with these sleds.

THAT SAME REP THAT YEAR TOLD US IF YAMAHA HAD MADE THE SRX 800 IT WOULD OF BEEN A WHOLE DEFFERENT MOTOR. NOT A BIG BORE WE ALL KNOW FROM THE PERFORMANCE SHOWS. HE ALSO SAID THE 700 CLYS WERE OUT AS FARR AS YAMAHA COULD TAKE THEM. SORTA JIVES WITH THAT 780 COMMENT UP ABOVE. 3:16 (yammie tony)
No pin up girls??? What are ya ---
lol
lol
our 780 have big bore has over 5000 miles on it no problem. he is right the cylinders are small there is not much room for an 800 but 780 works good.YAMMIEGOD3:16 said:THAT SAME REP THAT YEAR TOLD US IF YAMAHA HAD MADE THE SRX 800 IT WOULD OF BEEN A WHOLE DEFFERENT MOTOR. Nice fleet of sleds! Was wondering what model cat pistons you used?
