I made some calls and found a 2003 viper er, and a 2003 viper both leftovers at a dealerabout two hours from me.

Hell ya...I found a 04 viper s in a crate for 7200 cnd...I would jump on that er in a hurry...
Thats the price they sell for used up here.
It seems so weird to hear.. "yeah it has a 1 year warrenty.. it is brand new" , lol! It's like 6 years old! I was impressed. I thought for sure it would be like 6k at least. It might be my last chance to own a brand new reliable 2 stroke. I got that m10 coming.. what a nice combo that would be, lol!!

I just responded to your other post. If you want performance and ride, you can't beat a Viper S. The Ripsaw track gives it that much more aggressive bite and feel. If you want the E/R, you'll make other sacrafices unless you update it... I think the S is the best one they made...
so only the track makes the big difference? what are the performance/ride differences your talking about?
If you check specs, it's got the $1000 Ohlins up front and a steel body position shocks up back. A DCS system on the engine, better h/th controls. What more can I say...If you ride,you'd know...
maxout01 what dealer did you locate these? maybe interested in the one you don't take. I live just west of Amsterdam in tribes Hill and if it 2hrs. for you it would be almost the same for me. Thanks
I forgot to mention saddleless skiis and skid plate. I used to think my 99 Sx 600 triple was pretty cool- not even close to this!

I wonder if we went together and tried to deal a little with them if they would let them go for even less! I mean think about you have two sleds sitting in your shop for 6 years and all of the sudden two guys come in to wheel and deal on them to take em home, at the end of another winter no less..
They had two 04 viper S leftovers too, they sold them like a month ago. These two would be the end of their left overs!!
Too bad you didn't grab one of those Viper S'....

They got a Mountain viper 04' at Extreme power sports in Gaylord,mi for 3800.00 NEW! If I had the cash, it would be mine....oh well.

wow!those dealers are taking a loss on those machines to get rid of them. i work at a yami dealer in the winter months and can tell you they dont get any cheaper for the dealer if they've been sitting on them for a few years, plus they have to pay more intrest on them the longer they sit there. buy now thats a steal!
2003 isn't an s model viper. those were 04 only. It should have the same kyb fronts on it as the non er. Only difference in these 2 sled will be elec start and revers. Maxdlx
