Well I had the carbs off, and ck to see what pilots where in there. I put it all back together and the sled wont REV up, it acts like there no fuel or staving for air. I ck ed for spark and has spark.
I'm wonder what gives bad fuel pump or something.

what do you mean won't rev up.It must rev to something.Explain exactly what is happening. Can't you even get the sled to engage or what. What sound are you hearing?

The sled will idle, with some poping and running rough. The sled idleing high kinda around 2800 rpm. I did miss around with the cable, but didn't make any adjustments. The cable that goes down in the metal bracket with the nut on top is lose. is there surppose to be a nut on the bottom side to keep it tight.

there is adjuster nut to tighten or loosen cable, then a lock nut just below that to tighten in place. No nut goes under the bracket.Adjust cable so you have about a 2mm play.Remember now,if you play with your idle screw, like backing off the idle, cable will end up being tighter.Caught myself in that situation.Firsty start engine and warm up and set idle screw to desired position for proper idle.Once this is done, then adjust your throttle cable for the 2 mm play and you are set.Put you thumb at the point where the throttle
rotates and hold that firm, then depress your throttle. The TORS should start to operate just around the 3000 or so rpm and start cutting out the engine. Then you know it is working and eliminate that.
If your engine is coughing or spitting,it must be your carbs or you are flooding the engine.Clean carbs out good.Run engine at idle for a while and then check plugs. If they are soaked, you are rich and must adjust your fuel screws back.Check your wires that they are firing constantly, not intermittently.Check really good that your pilot jets are not dirty and plugged. If that all checks out,you may have an electrical issue, more work trying to trace a rub thru or grounding happening somewhere.Or maybe your plugs are bad..change them.Do one thing at a time and see if there is a difference,if not..try the next thing and so on.GOOD LUCK to ya.

I have messed with the throttle cable again, and it seems to run fine for a while then startes acting up again were it wont rev up and sounds like maybe not running on all cyclinders, I do have spark on all three cyclinders.
Is there is producure to adjust the throttle

super( daman) osborne..take it easy.....don't blow a gasket. lol.Eliminate one thing at a time there BADSXR or get your self an SRX.I asked him them questions already daman.Process of elimination is now needed.

When you cleaned the carbs, you had to unplug 2 electrical connections on an SXR. These were the TORS connectors. Make sure that they are plugged in, or plug the two coming from the wiring harness (not the carbs... you can plug the two carb wires into eachother to keep the connectors clean) into eachother to bypass the TORS. I can absolutely guarantee you that it is the Throttle Override System from the way you are describing it. There is also a switch in your throttle block. It could be stuck, or have gone bad, but more than likely it's your throttle cable adjustment or the TORS connecting wires.

Well I bypassed the TORS system and its runs great now. I must not have it adjusted right. I think I will try and adjust it again and see what happens
