vmax throttle extensions?

anyone know where i can get a throttle cable extender to fit a 94 v-max? the oil pump cable is really long and will reach where i need it to be, but the throttle cable and brake cable come up short. any ideas? going out for last time shortly and need to figure something out fast! help!
 
i heard i can make the power madd extension work if its drilled out a little. which one do i use, the yami 4 stroke one or the doo/cat/poolaro one?
 
the one they make says its for yamaha 4 strokes though. something must be different between the 4 stroke and two stroke throttle block end of the cable? which sleds would have a longer stock cable?
 
i see that now.i never looked on their site just in my catalog.the ends are different in throttle block.

if you measure your stock cable and take a pic of the ends.i have some used oem yamaha cable's that might be longer for you.
 
looking at the throttle block on a new phazer, looks like its almost identical to mine the way it fits so i'll give the extension a try, even if i have to modify it.
 
i picked up a powermadd one today, havent installed it yet, but looking at it and the cable it will take just a couple small modifications to work.
