I did'nt ask him about the needles. Phil said in order to get the correct squish you must do both sides of the piston at once. So I did and got a reading of .058-.059. He also said that I want it to be right around .055. So it is close.My guess is with the bigger bore you have to open up the squish more. I did mention to him that I would like for him to build me a set of pipes and dyno it sometime in the fall. He told me that I should see mid 250's with that motor, so I am down on hp of what it is capable of. He did tell me to put the fuel to it down low.

did you check it by the pins?? yes it needs way more fuel downstaris!!
 
Yes I did it side to side. It is a little tricky to hold to pieces of solder and turn it over but I managed.
