Hello Reimond. Will check it out at the summer, dont live at the place the 81 srx is (8m3). but will put an picture of the VIN number when get it. But to tell, i dont now if it is 8m3 or 8k6 at the 81 mod srx that is in the neighborhood. Only now that mine has 8k6, and it is an 80 gold frame srx. After 20 june i will tell what the VIN number is.
 
Have got the book for the 81 srx 440 81, the book is called 8m3, and the framenumber is 8k6-16101 to 16999. It is the parts manual, not service book.

The 80 has 8k6-15101 to 15999

But this is only in Europe!!!!!!!!!!! 8k2 in the US

Have not found the guy with this 81 srx yet, but will come back with it.
 
The 80 and 81 in Europe is the same, just small changes. diferent color at frame, ornament. cant find anything else. Maybe track suspension, but can only see that at the picture outside the book.
 
one at carage? do you mean garage. want to now all the difference between those two. 80 and 81 srx 440. Do you now about parts for yamaha vmax 540? Do restoring one now.
 
Sorry typo... Garage. They are same sleds what i can see at the moment.
No 540 parts.
