you have to p.m him, about it i think that it is a 1000 ft lake setup!!!!! Ask him what brand helix. The rx-1 helix is just as easy to find if not easier!!!! Also you can use the classifieds and post what you are looking for and you can get the parts used and just install them for cheap....Also, there is a gazzillon different posts on this that if you use the search at the top right you can read about.....reading for days.

Your springs should have little paint marks on them and you will know what they are based on the colors...Recheck for the paint marks!!!yellow white yellow on primary and red on the secondary!

ok thanks...........
w-w-w primary spring
8dn-20s with 4.5 in both holes
green secondary spring at 60-80 degrees
51/43 helix
So with this setup it would be white white white? and the secondary spring would have a green mark on it or would be completely Green?
I think i'm gonna go with this setup, hopefully i can go through my dealer for it....

yup secondary will have a green paint mark OR red, i would use green to start with for better trail riding..
this set up is very easy to tune,,example if your a heavy guy' 180+ use a
w/w/w primary spring for a higher engagment if your a light guy use a
y/s/y for a lower engagment so you don't spin outa the hole as much..
were here for your Q's with this as your tuning..

green spring has a green paint dash....I ordered one earlier this year it was 18.00. You can go through the dealer for all the parts....you will be happy
Also go to the front page. TY.com and go to tech pages and then go to sleds and then to clutching and there is really good info about how to read what you have and how to do the clutching and what the part #'s are and a bunch of other good info....even if you are going to have the dealer do the tuning!!!!

I'm 240lbs in suit.
w-w-w primary spring
8dn-20s with 4.5 in both holes
green secondary spring at 60-80 degrees
51/43 helix
That set up is no good for my weight? stock right now the sled has no problems moving me along often beating my buddies who are 170lbs .
wow i have alot to learn........
so basically what i am getting out for the (w-w-w primary spring
8dn-20s with 4.5 in both holes
green secondary spring at 60-80 degrees
51/43 helix) is that it wont be spot on once it gets put in the sled, but it will have to be driven to find out what needs to be done, then tne it from there? as stated? i just want a final say in what i want for my totaly set up for primary and secondary......

Here's a out come of the WWW Spring set up
My 01 SRX- stock track with 192 studs, stock suspension, stock motor, WWW set up
VS.
TopgunnSRX 01 SRX- 121 1in predator non studded, ExpertX skid, stock motor and CLUTCHING!!!
Running in same conditions(3-4in of crunch)
80-90lb weight difference(me being heavier)
Running any where from 1500-2000 feet in distance
I only pulled on him one time out of a hand full of races. So with that said next year the stock clutching will be put back in to see how it performs compared to the WWW set up.

Your clutches are completely stock? a totally black spring in primary and totally black in secondary, on the primary i see a yellow dash in the middle of the spring......
I'm better off getting Vforce3 reeds, pipes coated.... and what not.

You need to use the tech section on the site man, youll learn everything you need to know about clutching. The black your describing is the main color used to cover the whole spring so it dosent rust. The black is in no way the identifying mark of the spring, there marked with all sorts of colors but its just a little paint mark nothing big. Maxx Perf. springs are about the only springs I can thing of that were painted one solid color.
Stock 01 SRX Clutching
Yellow/White/Yellow Primary Spring
8DN-20 Primary Weights 17.2 Rivet and 13.9 rivet in each hole
15.6mm Primary Roller
Red Secondary Spring Wrapped 80deg
47Deg Secondary Helix
BTW the launch you see on the leftside of the pic(TopgunnSRX) is caused mostly from the weight transer of the ExpertX and track combined. My Viper use to launch the same way with the ExpertX and 1.25in Predator.

Yamidude59, don't spend your money on coating the pipes or v-force reeds. SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THAT HI-TECH!! 800 and I are telling u that it works. seriously, the guy that sold my buddy one, put one on his '00 srx and gained 11mph in a grass drag. it works. those 48g weights from fett bros are the ones you need. the black spring will come with them. setup those weights to how fett bros suggests and put on the er hi-tech roller. in the secondary w/ er hi-tech roller, use a 50/46 helix and cutler performance center red/white spring. i was told by the guy who sold my buddy the hi-tech, that the secondary will open up farther and thus give you more top end. my buddies piped viper will run 126mph on the dream-o-meter compared to my piped viper w/o hi-tech that would hit 112mph on dream-o-meter. he does have a speedwerx head which is helping him out too, but the hi-tech is doing alot itself. you can do what you want with your money, but i'm telling you that this hi-tech would be a rocking setup for your sled. you will notice it pull harder and stretch out your arms more. roller secondaries are the way to go. you should send me your clutches and i'll set them up for you. don't pay your dealer to touch that thing.
