Yeah, it is true.
The company I work for sells a lot of VOC abatement equipment to ethanol manufacturers, in addition to BRP( bombardier) , GM, Toyota, Ferrari, 3M, Boeing etc...
So we get the pretty much the most recent info regarding ethanol production.
At this point, taking the "throwaway parts" of the plants to make ethanol is not quite cost effective, but I am sure it will be once the right technology is created. This article is a step closer to that happening and being cost effective.
Now maybe even more ethanol plants will pop up, and we can sell more Thermal Oxidizers to them $$.
