Can you install a XTC long travel rear and front suspension on a 97 SX 700 sled? Is it a direct bolt on, or do you have to redrill and mount. Is so, how hard is it?
On the front suspension, do you have to change the control arms/trailing arms to get the long travel?
Thanks Bruce

rear shocks will go in easy just need to get longtravel limiter straps. as for the front. u have to unbolt the shock mount and take them off. then u have to get the rubber/steal bushing that goes into the bulk head where the clevis eye of the shock mounts to. and yes u also have to get longer control arms.

Does that mean that you don't need the complete skid? Just shocks and straps?
Thanks Bruce

Shocks, straps for the rear. Shocks, bushings, control arms and I think trailing arms are different (They have different part numbers, 8CR-2382E-00-00 & 8CR-2382F-00-00 for the XTC and 8CR-23851-00-00 & 8CR-23852-00-00 for the SX) because the geometry is a bit different.
