Clutch work, my Stock SX600R with clutching runs side by side with my dad's SX700R which is all stock including the clutching. From out of the hole to 90mph its side be side and I actually have more speed on top end. Next mod, what ever is close to free and a Rip saw track. And People, PLEASE use quite aftermarket exhaust. I live 1/2 mile from a popular trail and I can barely hear stock sleds but sleds with "stingers" wake me up all the time.
i live in upper michigan on a Very secondary road (about 30 sleds to 1 car in the winter time) and the loud sleds ripping by in the middle of the night start to piss my dad off but i just smile. by the way favorite mods gotta be the bender pipes. least favorite bender clutch kit. gonna try turks this year w/ 89l weights and a 51/45 helix
track - traction is the name of the game too play with the big boys

far too many on the sx probably the biggest improvement was pipes . by next year it'll undoubtably be the turbo on the rx

I hope my favorite is going to be my 00' SRX with a Price 1000 under the hood. Have'nt got it finished yet. My stock SRX with some clutching goes pretty well. Least favorite would have to be plastic stud backers. They drove me crazy as they made the sled have a vibration. That is what it had in it when I bought the sled and the studs were not sucked up flush with the track.Aluminum!!!! I like just about every mod except clutch kits, what a waste of $.

I agree with Danger Dog's opinion in that most clutch kits are really a waste of money. (not talking about HC's/H.H.'s/ST's/etc) Im talking about what bender, hauck, and other sell, which include a helix and maybe a spring or 2, they really are a waste of money.

Yes 98srx6 that is what I was talking about. I should of clarified? The problem with kits is that sleds, riders, and conditions are different. I will say that some of them may work ok and are good for people that are not tunners.
Problem with some of those kits are they are tested on the ice with no snow...then when you take it to the trail, they dont work.

LEAST FAVORITE MOD! Anything that takes more than a month to *&%$@%# show up. Bad part is the list is waay to high to count, and I will not use 3 major aftermarket part suppliers as a result of this... BTW the longest I have had to wait is 8 months, ie ordered in Sept, arrived in May

wow....thats a long wait. Its killing me waiting like 6 weeks to get my order from an internet dealer that said it would be to me in a week. Want to get my sled ready for the year before deer season.
