Oil Pump Adjust

I am adjusting my oil pump I have the two lines lined up at full throttle. I have also read that there is a gap from the cable and the adjuster that i should measuse, I cant find a gap on the cable. I have a 1998 600 twin is there a gap on my cable or is it just the tripple ?

No nothing else to measure,on your sled you just line up the marks at WOT
and your done..

did you do idle and throttle end play adjustments first??

How do i adjust the idle?

Do these checks in this order;

1st- set idle to 16- 1,650 rpm's(@ operating temp)

2nd- set throttle end play to 2mm adjustment for that is down at the carb rack(holding the throttle pivot point out when measuring)..
