I have seen people on youtube loosening their limitor straps in the rear suspension and i was wondering how do you know how much to loosen it.I really only wanna do it so i can lift my skies pretty good. thanks

I have the same sled and from what I can tell you over 4000 miles of riding her is that it will not lift the ski's unless you have someone in front of the sled pulling up on the front bumper.

Even with the awesome traction the Camoplast Predator provides I cannot and really do not want the front end off the ground.

You would let out or pull back the limiter straps to decrease or increase ski pressure for the real simple explanation. To do this find the strap and you will notice that there are nuts on the metal bar the straps are fed thru. You can loosen it a bit from here or if you are real serious about letting it out or taking them in unbolt the 2 halves (the strap is about 18 inches long and folded in half) and change the holes so the strap is longer.

Mine are spot on but I need to do our Viper to get a lot more ski pressure to stop it from pushing the ski's in the corners.

So if you let out too much your sled will like going in a straight line real well and not steer.

If you want to get more transfer (ski lift) there are other ways. The transfer bars (rear of the suspension diagonal bar) is where to focus your efforts for the Proaction.

thanks i knew that it couldn't just be the strap that did it all ..and i never really looked into it until now

you wont lift the skis on those sleds because the center shock spring is too soft to give any kind of transfer. to make those sleds handle better you need to install a stiffer center spring. ski shock springs can be modified to fit them(grind the inside of the spring and the outside of the collar). srx springs work good.
