i know someone that rides for yamaha snow cross i will see i i can get some deatails on it tonight and post them and if i remeber corecly its hade a 800 twin in it

Yep that should have had the twin, the triple sleds were stripped and I know where those motors are.

The one that I was looking for to buy, jimmy fejes, had a tripple engine NOT the twin 800..

Didn't buy it. Looked really teerd up.

Hmm i have heard rumours of a 800 triple made by yamaha factory racing.

You're correct the 800 triples were made by Yamaha, contrary to popular belief. They had special cylinders, pistons, and powervalves, they look like SRX castings, the head was a special casting 8EK head, looks like a Viper on the outside with tight 74mm pockets. All fitted to stock cases.

The twins were custom made out of watercraft motors, had a modified WC bottom end, a sand cast WC cylinder with a billet head, belt driven water pump.

must have been based on the 760cc twin from the GP and blasterII, right?

that is the biggest twin they had, all others were trips that were big enough.

Yep I think that was called a 761cc, the cyls were from an aftermarket co. that made a big bore for the 761, they were sand cast, not hard to see.
