I machined the faces on my secondary clutch and had to take .026" off of each face to get them to clean up fully and be nice and true. my question is, that i want to do the primary as well, so i would have to take .026" off each primary face as well, so the clutches each have the same amount off, thus keeping the belt tracking straight and not tracking on a slight angle.....right? its kinda tough for me to explain, but there will be someone out there that knows what i'm talking about, that i hope can help me. oh, yeah, i plan on getting both clutches rebalanced, so anyone know of a place to rebalance a clutch?

Micro belmont does an excellent job on balancing clutches.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure CB Performance balances clutches too... I'm not sure where Micro-Belmont is but CB Performance is right in Wisconsin with you.

you effectively moved the belt "in" .026, so put a 1/2mm shim behind the secondary and call it done or just leave it, most people don't align their motors that close anyway................

how much for micro belmont to balance clutch?
lightning pro does them too.
if you take any off your primary you will need to reset neutral with thinner split collars

FYI, when you true the clutch face (drive or driven) you also want to true the degree of the clutch face for the belt brand of your liking.
So what degree is your driven at now, and what is your drive at. What degree is a NEW belt you run?

contact nos-pro in on here he lives in the same town as you.I believe he bought abunch of sled parts from a guy that got out of it and he had a clutch balancer.I'm not shure if he got it.
I think Ulmerracing also does it.

toydoc, i will be running the yammi belts. i have trued up the secondary (kept same degrees on both sheaves, as they originally were).

CB is actually in northern Illinois. Gurnee to be exact.
