low rider srx

you can gain 1inch by flipping the brackets for front shocks from left to right, youll need to add a washer between bracket and frame but this will pick up the front 1 inch. If you need more youll need to get viper front shocks and then you can offset the mounts, they stay on same side but youll need to make a spacer on a lathe so the brackets wont collapse when you tighten the bolts ans the viper tops are clevis mounted and the srx are eyelet. You will also need to get longer radius rods and steering tubes if you want all the geometry of the front end to be correct, depends on how much you need it raised and the amount of work your willing to put in it.

THanks for reply I think it has different mounts already i need more than an inch,it has ohlin shocks and id like to stay with them if possible. it has maxximum wide kit so radius rods are longer already.there is a picture of sled in classified section in the srx section under dukes 700 srx take a look i need to come up a ways an inch isnt much is it. thanks

Hi I had the same issue last year when I added my viper long track kit. I ended up getting a set of relocating brackets that raised my front end/leveled it but yet I was able to keep my ohlins. Still handles like a slot car. I got them on ebay for around 30-40$. If I remember right some one on here was also selling them. I can send pics if wanted. Jason I_AX_EM@yahoo.com
