figured i'd post some pics of my exciter project, i've had tons of tech questions answered for me on this site so here are a few pictures of her. it sat in the previous owner's back field for 4 years and took a little restoring to get it going including replacing all fuel and oil lines, filter and rebuilding the pump. but I didnt stop there. what started as a simple "just going to get it running" turned into almost the full winter of changing this and that to my liking. i finally got to take it out on the trails this past weekend when we trailered up to Hurley WI for its maiden (and last) ride this winter. Will definatly be widening the front end this summer, and i might be changing the rear skid again, i majorly ate slides due to the xtra 12's natural bad approach angle and the combination of that and the smaller 8 tooth drivers. track tension was correct. anyways on with the current mods and pics.

nice job exciter89! looks like a fun time machine! are the attack skies a easy bolt on or did you have to make em fit?
 
the saddleless ski's are definatly more work to bolt on than the saddle type. if you are going composite i recommend you start with a slightly older set. the saddleless can be made to fit, but I had to modify them and the lower knuckle on the strut. i'll post another thread a little later on on what it takes to modify the saddless skis to bolt onto a T.S.S. front.
 
had to add new drop brackets to mount the rear of the skid, i think it was around 6-7 inches farther foward than stock. and redrilled the front holes. the width of the mounting on the rear was perfect, had to narrow the front cross shaft on the skid about 1/8" on both sides. pretty easy to mount actually.
