srx and water

mod..first you get stuck in deep power, now you want to sink it in water.Hey it's your sled.Go buy a Jet Ski if you want to go on water. If you suck some water into your intake..you are finished. You'll again will be walking...I mean swimming to go get your trailer.LOL.Get us pics of it when it happens. You'll be keeping harness busy with stripping parts for your sled.Put the sled away for the season...it's all over.I see it is drizzling in your area now.

If you silcone the towers water dosen't come in on the clutch. You have no issues.I have had srx's across water atleast close to 100 times and quite awawys.

hey guys that sled run really awsome on water i think i could follow any kind of jet ski lolll thnx for the silicone advise ... a pantera 1000 sink so funny to see bye bye captain lollllll... he had is chance to try it back and he finish to cross i think my oncle was pist off a little to sink the first run ..he think a yammy its not a real good sled ..well show him its run like a boat on water lolll i didnt have my cam corder ... well i'm not a heavy guy it run sweet and nice :-)))

I have silicone on mine and the only time I have problems is when my ski's/skid plate throw water up on the hood in the vents and get on the clutches!!!! This only happens when you go down into a hole and cant get a run!!! I have a couple pics in the picture thread titled island lake.

I thought there was also a spot around the front heat exchanger that if not siliconed would let water up to the secondary clutch. Gool Luck and make sure you strap on your water wings!! lol
