Vk 540!!

I really like the vks. i noticed when they first came out they did not have the pogo stick front suspencion. i was wondering what the first year was when they went to pogos instead of the leaf springs? thinking about buying one this fall. but i do not want one with out pogos. so what is the earlyest year i can buy with pogos? any pictures or information would be great. thanks in advance.

the 1st 4 years (i think!) had leaf springs. i know 1992 had pogos as my uncle has one. he also has the 1988 one without. if you can get the later model years as they had the proaction rear in them and can be made to ride pretty good with some tuning.

Yamaha never had a POGO suspension. They did however make a Telescopic Ski Suspension (T.S.S.) !
