going with a 1.25 predator and wanting to put in double backers instead of singles for durability issues. seems double backers would hold the studs in better without them tearing out. just a pain to get the two holes drilled perfectly. anybody have any major issues with going with doubles or singles?

I had 96 1.325 studs in my 1.25 ripsaw on my apex. I had a four pull throughs.
Decided to add some double backers to see how they hold up. I went with 2 dbls/row, then 2 singles/row. Ended up with 144. Used woodys megabites 1.450's. I might change the singles over next year to all doubles.
Works awesome and WAY stiffer with the double backers. Just my 2 cents,
Rick.
