I am on my phone so I can't see tech pages.I am at micro belmont right now and want to know a good aggressive trail setup. i've got a 01 sxr 700 with a roller secondary. can someone help me with a quickness. thx.
Who,s roller is it?
What is the helix angle?
What secondary spring are you running?
What primary set up are you running?
What are your rpm,s right now from a dead stop to top end at wide open throttle.
This is the minimal amount of info needed before u can recieve any accurate help.

YOU'LL HAVE TO BREAK THE CODE FIRST.

its a super torquer roller. not sure of helix or spring color at this moment, will look this weekend at my buddys. rpm's right now at WOT is about 9,200 or so. I know that is way to high. Primary is all stock right now that i am aware of.
You need a steeper helix plus more primary weight. rpm,s should be no higher then 8500 rpm.Do not buy clutching components unless you know exactly what they are & how it effects your sleds performance. You now have a roller secondary that will cost a lot of money to make it work right. I could have got your clutching perfect for about $45 before you bought that roller.

I've still got the other secondary. what do u suggest?
Get a used apex rx-1 helix & run that in the stock secondary. Change inner rivet in the the stock primary weights from a 3.6 gram to a 4.5 gram. sell that roller. the helix is too shallow unless you buy some aftermarket weights but you gotta know how to clutch a sled & ........well........u will need a lot of help.
