Alright......
Can anyone post any experience with "homebrew" 1050cc Yamaha triple based off of:
600 twin bottom (add one cyl and crank pin)
Cylinder bored to 350cc each
38mm rack carbs
Viper Ignition
What Pipes?
How did it run?
Reliable?
WOuld you do it again?
I'm kinda bored of the 700/780 CPR and am not up for a forced induciton based four stroke quite yet.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

Twin made into a triple?
You mean like this?
Aaen pipes, 3) 38's on a rack
Trail sled, oil injected, has 3800mi. on it
ran 127.5 mph (in 1996)
would I do it again? I did, so did Bender, Avalanche
I have most of the parts ready to go to make a 1020

Thanks, Racer, actually that bottle was welded, the air box is an aluminum top with the 3 seperate 800 Storm pieces under it.
The head is 2 heads welded together along the bolt radius. I liked it better when it was a 750, it was smoother and much nicer in the woods, it was only 7 mph slower. The 900 is almost too much corner to corner. it never sets the front end down, still fun.

Bill... nice work, man I wish I had a deeper wallet. I'd have to call you up and have you build me one!
