Tried to put fox floats on my srx and noticed the top eyelet diameter is wider than stock. Any thoughts on a solution? :dunno:

Sorry, My post is confusing.

It is the whole diameter that is larger (where the bolt goes through)

I think he means the other way around.... The Fox Shock hole is larger than the eyelet. I'd try a good hardware store and see what you can find. What if you had a washer that fit inside the shock hole drilled out to the correct diameter...and then a second larger washer on the outside to hold it all together? How much different in size are we talking?

I could also see a bolt with a lip that was the diameter of the shock, but I'm not sure what you would do on the side of the nut.

olite bushing

Just go to www.mcmastercarr.com and type Oilite into the search field. You will have several to chose from.
Chose the Olite type bronze bushing:
-- bushing OD = ID of your shock mount hole
-- bushing ID = same as your bolt OD
-- bushing length = depth of the shock mount

exactly, just like a sleeve

Just remeber that you DO NOT lubricate these types of bushings. They are already impregnated with a lubricate. Adding any lubricate will basically "gum" them up and cause issues.

Zachalyse - how about if you post up some pictures and part numbers when you are done - save some time for someone else that might want to do the same thing (like me)!! ;)!
