Here goes, what is the largest motor that can be installed relatively easily in the 91-93 Exciter 2 or 93 Exciter SX Chassis??
So now on the opinion side:
If a guy is building a nice powder sled, would you try to build up the stock 570 motor or go with a Vmax 600 or ???
How close dimension wise are the Vmax 600 motors or is that even an option.
The motor area on the Exciter is not that open & will be tough for any kind of performance pipes if we dont stick with the 570 sooo......??
How about a 700 triple?? Pipes would be a pain in the A%% right??
Love the old Exciter chassis for boondocking & powder riding & am looking to build one but, I want the most HP I can get without really having to screw up the engine bay area. Will be putting a newer rear skid under it like a RX-1 or similar & a 136 track. So, I want the HP to be up there a bit.
Thanks, Rob
PS: I like the older iron so this should be a fun project!!
Have access to a Vmax4 motor, but........hahahha, try stuffing that in there with the clutches & everything else huh!!
