Gas Prices take a turn for the worse..up!!!

With all this talk about gas theft it sounds like the "Mad Max" movies are coming true!!!!!!!!! Hey Bluemonster you could be that guy in the Gyrocopter. LOL Have a great weekend.

What kind of income tax is paid in Canada?

There is a group of men and women riding with barely any clothes on this weekend.It is for a special cause.And it is cool this weekend,imagine what that would do to the riders,especially the women..lol.At least they don't worry about gas prices.Saw 1 of the women on TV,she was basically nude on her bike.She said I hope the people will help donate to the cause they are riding for and not coming out just to see our bodies,and she chuckled.She looked pretty damn good from the rear of the bike..lol.Sorry couldn't resist to tell a story that didn't include the use of fossil fuel.
 
Well for a update now.Our gas prices at the pump for regular now is at $1.399 a litre. That now makes it $6.35 a gallon.As if there wasn't enough taxes on our gas,the Liberal government has introduced a Carbon Tax to to tacked on.That will be another 2.5 cents a litre.This is a bunch of crap that will hurt the regular people.Big companies don't care,they will just pass the cost on to their products in which we the people get burnt again.The farming community as if it wasn't bad enough already,will get nailed to the wall again.Like one local farmer on the news recently said,"If we can't get some extra money for our products..ie)milk,eggs,etc,we might as well shut down the business .We feed the people and by not giving us a small increase on our prducts,you will put us out of business.Then you will pay dearly for imported products." Farmers are held hostage here,when fuel prices go up,their costs go up,but their profit goes down.They can only absorb only so much of this.Feed costs went up,gas costs,fertilizer costs,chemical costs and machinery costs..etc.I heard already that in my area that my Uncle and cousins who farm 8000 acres plus are already running into cash problems.It is getting tighter and tighter.Now if the weather plays out the wrong way,they are really behind the eight ball.Our weather has been nuts lately.Their have been more tornado sightings then ever before.Usually with a big storm you get hail damage and that basicaslly kills them.No end in sight.I wouldn't want to be a farmer these days and put up with the whole mess.Guess there is a reason why some farmers have committed suicide.They see that all they have worked for go down the toilet after generations and they simply just give up.
 
We had a great sledding winter in WI last year. I just wish I was able to get out more than I did this year. I put on 1500 miles or so, but I only got up north like 4 times.

Even with $$ gas, I still had fun.
 
I am not sure what the taxes are on our gas.Asked the attendant once,but they didn't know.Today the world price of oil jumped quite a bit again.They were saying if things began to get more hostile in the world,most likely a confrontation with IRAN,world oil price could be pushed all the way up to $300 a barrel.Can I say that the world would stand still.Oil would be used as a weapon.Without a good supply of fuel in North America,commerce and trade would stall.Another source of fuel has to be brought to the table.Hydrogen may likely be it,using water,and it doesn't have to be clean water also.Wouldn't it be cool that when we go to the bathroom to pee,we save it and use it as fuel for our vehicles.We can just pee directly into our tanks.The women though would have a problem with that...lol
