m10 suspension with a viper seat, black er? looks like mine, ohlins from a srx, phazer box in the back. apex bars, different skiis, different speedo, looks like a viper modded motor.
that looks like a proaction with ohlins in it. The mirrors are add on, the bars are different, the front ohlins are add ons, looks like pilot skis, not sure but the tool kis isn;t factory, but don't know what it is off of, the rear wheels are after market, viper seat, boost bottle on the carbs, and the key ring is an add on. Maxdlx
I also thinks it has viper trailing arms and spindals on it, and the windy has been changed. there

Viper seat, Phazer box, ohlins from Viper (front and rear), boost bottle, rear wheels, A/M transfer rods, pilot skis, RX1 style speedo, powder coated W arm?, apex bars, windshield, and of course the TY marginal idler relocation with a twist (added inner idlers as well - very nice!).

Superventure!
I believe those to be the stock trailing arms and spindles on that year venture. Ski's look like Simmons Flex Ski's to me. Obviously the Ohlins are add on in the front and it looks like maybe those belly pan sides are SRX style with the higher wells to accomodate the gas resevoirs on the Ohlins.....I don't think those shocks would clear with regular Venture belly pan sides. Looks like a 136 Venture rear skid with Ohlins, billet wheels in the back and some adjustable transfer rods. Good call Yamerdown on the wheel relocation.....I'm a Expert X guy and wouldn't even know what to look for on a No Action skid to be perfectly honest. Thats a new style Phazer tool box on the back. That's an RX-1 throttle block (caught that from the split cable) so I must therefore also assume that those are Apex/Attack style bars and not the original Cat bars that you created a few years back. Looks like an RX-1 gage and there is somthing funky going on there with the cowel....I mean beyond the non stock windshield. I assume that is why the first photo from the front does not show the cowel. From the rear I'd have to guess that you somehow fit an RX-1 cowel on there? It almost appears that there is somthing funky going on there with the antifreeze overflow tube or whatever that snake like thing is running back an forth in that area. Is that a stock oil tank? Did you put a 2000+ SRX or Viper oil tank on there to gain capacity and then run the overflow tube from the stock expansion tank into the overflow on the other split resevoir tank? Obviously a modded Viper seat. I see the boost bottle and I'm willing to bet that you also stuffed a set of viper or SRX reed blocks in that motor too. Finally, looks like you somehow rigged up the reverse mechanism to a parking brake lever and mounted either it, or the normal parking brake controll on the left under the bars thus eliminating all the heavy and cumbersome reverse handle stuff. This is similar to an old Polaris set up.
That's all I could see in a quick glance....gotta do some work!!!

Matt, I have to disagree with you, lol. No, just kidding.
I saw the belly pans and wondered if they were off a viper (sure look like it), but to be honest I don't know the Venture that well. Venture is long travel so I think they are stock. On second look, those are definitely not pilot skis, so you are probably correct on that. Trailing arms on that machine are the same as the Viper, so they are stock as you said. Hood does look funny in that 1st pic. Looks like its shimmed up in the front and is there something hanging out the right side (left side of the picture)? It is a Venture hood though. Again not knowing the Venture I never thought about the coolant or oil bottles, but after checking the micro fiche you are correct they are off a Viper.
I totally missed the second parking brake lever, so yah must be for reverse. That said, the hood is cut anyway so why bother. Also why not just keep the original p-brake lever and use it for the reverse, then get one of the p-brake add-ons that holds the hydraulic lever open (just a thought). Then you can remove the entire p-brake assembly to save weight and you only have 1 stock looking p-brake lever for reverse operation.

Lol!
Yamerdown....that was funny. On the belly pans....I had to call Scott. They are stock. I was wrong on that.......I thought sure I was onto somthing there!

matt is cheating
What!
I'm not cheating! I hav'nt edited my original post since I called you! Although I was extremely tempted! Just because the reverse thing was a concept that we talked about years ago doesn't mean I was cheating when I saw it on your sled! I didn't point out any of the other stuff I was wrong about.

He he. Yeah I changed my original post right after I submitted it. I guess I kinda cheated. I had the mirros listed as a mod, but remembered it's a touring machine and they come stock. Then although I'd noticed the outer idlers were moved, I'd initially missed the additional inner ones. Went out and looked at my Viper and then realized what Scott had done.Madmatt said:I'm not cheating! I hav'nt edited my original post since I called you!
Hey Scott, those inner wheels don't hit the W arm? Did you have modify the axle spacers to avoid contact?
We must be close to having pointed everything out.

That sure does look like an oil tank from a Viper.
Ah ha!
I knew those gas resevoirs wouldn't clear the stock belly pans! You trimmed them!

The tank bag isn't stock. what is the push button hi beam maybe on the front of the bars. Maxdlx
I also don't think the bubble wrap under the hood area was sock, maybe an option if you hit alot of stuff. LOL Maxdlx
ill let this go a while longer as there are not many in here in the summer.
