Propane for a diesel is like NOS for a gas engine.

The heavily modified turbo crowed is well aware of using methanol (which can be found on windshield washer fluid), to inject into the intake manifold which cools the intake manifold/air in turn creating a denser air charge, so you can run more boost.

i want my 10 minutes back. why on earth is everyone so pissed off at oil companies, though, im with you on the citgo. I buy from exxon. they are an american company. most of thier share holders are americans and or american retirment funds, mutual funds etc... these are the people that are the "corperation" that everyone seems to hate.
what they do is take investor money, find a product, get it, refine it, deliver it for the going rate that everyone is willing to pay. they make a 9-11%profit on that money after paying the gov over 40% in taxes. Now all the wackos are saying that they shouldnt make that money. lets take that on. lets take away their profit. now what???
why would they exist, why would they explore for more oil to sell to an ever growing world of users. why do any of it. if we take away the reason for investors to invest(which is profit)there would be no money to go buy that new oil rig, build that new ship, build that pipe line, figure out ways to get new oil or refine previously unrefinable products.
people say, why doesnt one oil company say they are going to sell for less money, they took the oil from the ground, refined it and delivered it in throught their own companies, they can sell it cheaper.
lets say mobil starts selling gas 1$less than any other station around the country, what happens then. first, everyone loves them, fills up their tank in every thing they own, after waiting in line for hours, only to find out that there is no gas left for them.
they dont produce enough of their product to supply the whole country. their supply system would be crushed, drained within a few weeks. now everyone will hate them for not delivering on the promised cheap fuel they said they would give a few weeks ago.
why do that to yourself as a company?

companies are only people that came together to create money. last i checked, that is why i have IRAs invested in energy companies, and also, it is why i go to work.

maybe i should start selling unbreakable windshields, or wiper blades that never wear out, that would be great for buisness. no, come to think of it, ill sell a product people want for a price they are willing to pay, and when they need another one, ill do the same, just like mobil



sorry, i channel gary when i hear people bitching about the evil oil company mobil.
 
EXXON MOBIL made the MOST PROFIT that they ever have in business the LAST YEAR... WHY?????you may ask??????? because GAS PRICES ARE SO HIGH!!! don't you think some of that $4.00 a gallon goes to their profit???? The MOST PROFIT that they EVER have made.... Maybe buying stock in EXXON MOBIL is the way to go??????? As far as YAMALUBE and CITGO,,, you REALLY HAVE TO HAVE a screw loose to buy YAMALUBE!!!!! You think EXXON MOBIL are a bunch of PIRATES?????? Gasoline is around 40 CENTS per gallon in VENEZUELA (where CHAVEZ and CITGO are located at) I cannot believe that AMERICAN PEOPLE buy fuel from CITGO let alone OIL and ESPECIALLY YAMALUBE!!!!! WHAT ARE you people thinking???????? Do you know ANYONE who has been sent overseas to fight in OPERATION IRAQUI FREEDOM or OPERATION DESERT STORM????? Did you see or hear of anyone getting LEAD POISIONING??? ( a nice way of saying "gunned down") Chances are,,, they were KILLED or injured by LEAD projected courtesy of CHAVEZ and his ASSAULT RIFLE COMPANY that is FUNDED BY CITGO and YAMALUBE ( and OWNED BY CHAVEZ)... This CHAVEZ is a real piece of work!!!! and you think that old man OSAMA is dangerous... NO WHERE NEAR as dangerous as CITGO... WAKE UP PEOPLE.... EVEn if you have to buy AMSOIL,,, please think about our troops...

What is so bad about AMSOIL???

They were the first to produce a synthetic oil for automobiles, they were the first and the ONLY oil company to have an extended drain interval of 25,000 miles/1 year.

They were the FIRST U.S. company to utilize the NOACK volatility test as a standard of performance excellance.

They were the First to produce synthetic motor oils for diesel engines, racing engines, turbos, and marine engines.

They were the first to introduce synthetic oils that legitimatly contribute to improved fuel economy.

They were the first to manufacture synthetic gear lubes for automotive use.

They were the first to manufacture a 100:1 pre-mix synthetic 2-cycle oil.

They were the first to manufature a synthetic automatic transmission fluid for automobile use.

They are just not a greedy as "BIG OIL" They all have the technolegy to produce a oil asgood as Amsoil but they won't do it as they will loose money telling you you can go a year without changing your oil. Using AMSOIL along with Amsoil by-pass filtration and oil anyalsis it is possible to never have to change you oil again. What other company offers anything close to that?

That and they are a U.S. Company.

add salt to the water to keep it from freezing you'll have a different by product a high strength bleach but so what go wash some whites.
 
I never said there was anything BAD about amsoil.. I think their marketing strategy BLOWS,,but,,, other than that, their product is TOP SHELF!!! I personally think that a company called ESTERLUBE came out with synthetic oil BEFORE amsoil and AMSOIL PUSHED esterlube out of the market!!! ESTERLUBE was FAR SUPERIOR to amsoil, but,, amsoil compared their product to ESTERLUBE and ran in the same markets.. Amsoil was around $7.00 a quart and ESTERLUBE around $30.00.. So you see,,, it COSTS ESTERLUBE around $25.00 or $26.00 a quart to produce this synthetic oil so there WAS NO WAY it was comparable to AMSOIL.... But the MARKETING PIGS at amsoil DID NOT CARE that it was 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS,, they just SLAMMED ESTERLUBE and LIED BIGTIME to the public about the comparisons ( which REALLY weren't there) and did their DAMNDEST to DESTROY ESTERLUBE!!!! I could tell you other HORROR STORIES about Amsoil's marketing strategy,,,but lets say,, for the record,,, AMSOIL is a FINE PEODUCT..... Personally,, I use KLOTZ and I have been using KLOTZ for the past 30+ years on JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING.. I HOPE THAT EXPLAINS IT!!!
