what excatly is an SXR is that a viper or vmax sx? sorry for the dumb questions?

And I know yamaha symbol is the tuning forks is there a history behind tuning forks and what do they do I cant see them in the picture?

Its a long travel suspension version of the sx along with some other odd and end changes, but still the same platform.Yami made the switch in the '00 model year.
