what is the best helix for a srx ported .....with heel clicker ..50/40 dalton does it sounds perfect ..i think this is what they recommend .i'm a little men

sounds about right. most guys run a shallower finish angle on their helix's than 40 degrees when running heel clickers, but you are putting out like 13hp-15hp more than before, cause of porting, so you should be able to run a helix with 2-4 degrees steeper finish angle. you should be fine with that 50/40 vs 48/36 usual.

Are you looking to get stuck on the trails again.LOL!!!! Dig yourself a nice little hole and end up walking back. Have you woken up from your long summer nap and now starting to dream SRX again..Hey you are not the only one.Got my vintage AC all ready to go..new engine and all.Got the suspension on my SXR apart and repairing some parts. Then the SRX is next in line for some work.Got all my clutch's rebuilt for all the sleds,,bushings and all.Should have no clutching issues this season coming.Hope to bury the needle on the X for sure.

The first thing you need is tracktion then go from there. Even in the H/C instructions it states that you will not benefit if you do not have tracktion. "Stud that puppy"
I run a Bender 50/40

Try to find a 48/40advant-edge helix & a green secondary spring. Worked about as well as anything I every tried with 40/10 hc,s & red hc primary spring.

just put a ripsaw on it. it will hook up just as good as a studded track on the trails, and no extra weight to throw around and no chance then of a stud having an affair with a heat exchanger :)

i hate to loss top end .. my friend always wanna run from dead to the other end of the lake so.... try to get the best everywhere ... but ill put my stock 98 gear thise winter and maybe a little taller ill see if i can gain some on top ...running the 2001 gear set up right now. i think h/c prefer less gear for top end

I got huge top end running that helix or a brand X with about a 50/44 angle.
