I'm sure this has been covered but I didn't find a search option on this site. I am looking for information on who can rebuild the KYB's and the cost. My 2000 has never had them rebuilt. I had heard Bender did this but that was a long time ago. Thanks

Pioneer does, and another place in MN does it called B-Line. If you look in the general discussion category you will see a post called "Shocks" click that and theres a number...

I wouldn't say hands down, I would say both are very reputable. Both are named Bruce, and both have done there share of shocks. Bruce at B-line knows what he is doing. He did my Ohlins for the rear, which were hi low comp and rebound, and had them perfect when they were returned. He is cheaper than Pioneer by a bunch, shipping is less cause he is right there in Mn, and he will get them back in a week or less. He is just east of the Twin Cities. He used to be the head shock guy in the Yamaha trailer for years, and can set you up for what ever you tell him. Maxdlx

I have been happy with what Pioneer has done for me in the past.....Good work, fair prices, fast turnaround.

I agree with Max. B-Line also deserves some business as he was a great guy to deal with and my shocks performed just as well as a pioneer set. (I have used both companies) Can't go wrong with either.

Bruce at B-line ahs always told me If I wans't happy with the shocks he did for me he would redue them for nothing. Thats another plus. Maxdlx

I used Pioneer and Bruce did a great job. I also added 4" seat riser and the sled turned into a different sled. Shocks upgrade under 200 and riser under 30.
