do u think i can put studd on a 1 inch ripsaw and how tall and how mutch... do u think 96 its enough for trail and lake race at constance bay.... :dunno:

Sure you can stud a 1 inch ripsaw. With a one inch track most people use a 1.080 but you can also use a 1.175 I wouldn't go any taller, as for the number if you are going to lake race on hard packed snow 144, if glare ice 192. I like to put 144 trail studs in for trail riding or hard packed lake running and then for glare ice I through in 48 chisels for a total of 192.

well i doesnt wanna put studd on the side so not sure how mutch in middle.. i just wanna put the minimum studd has possible and no chisels they don't really like crossing road

You can put 144 down the middle even 168. On my Apex with 1.25 ripsaw I only run 96 down the middle, works good on everything but glare ice. If you read my post closely I said 144 for trail riding and hard packed lake running (SRX700) and when I do some lake racing on glare ice then I throw in the chisles. Yes, chisles and any stud for that matter does not like road crossings.

Throw in 144 carbide tipped studs down the center belt of the track and you will be a happy camper. 1.175" is normally a good length for a decent mix between performance and durability. Let me know if you have any other questions.
