need help with bender triples

What kind of elevation you at? This is from Benders install instructions;

Jetting should be determined by the quality of fuel available in your area. For those running blended, oxygenated, or unknown fuel, 167.5 mj and 55 pj are required. Using premium pump gas of known good quality allows for 165 mj and 52.5 pilots.

The Viper PTO chamber size is 24.55 - 24.85. Center and Mag are 21.35 -21.65. What they do when modding the head is lower the compression ratio on the center and mag. By machining the center and mag chambers to the 24 cc (same as PTO). (quote from MtnViper in another post)

That being said, I would expect the larger jets to be in the cylinders with the higher compression. I would be very afraid of the 162s in the mag and center unless your at altitude. You also didn't mention what pilot jets you plan on running. But if you were at altitude then the 167.5 would be big.

I ended with 165s and 55s in mine. I think I could have went down to the 162s but didn't get it out that much to do tuning. But I also had a PeakPerformance head. I ran a MntMax cooler, same size as the SX cooler. I had no overheat issues.

Every F-7 i raced with my piped viper was faster than mine. I don't know if they were modded but they are FAST!!. Your set up will have to be spot on to keep up. I'm still trying to get mine figured out. I'll be porting the motor, studding the track, and using nitrous this year. I don't think i'll have a problem with F-7's anymore. :nos:

I NEED BIG TIME HELP i striped one of the threds in the center cylender what do i do to fix it other then buying a new cylender.
 
hey guys is a long track kit a good adtion for the viper or should i not bother if im looking for speed. and i was gona do 192 studs but what kind of studs would be the best set up for trail and lake. thanks.
 
personally, i would take all the studs out. 48 studs.....there's too much load on each stud....more studs equal less load per stud. anyways, i never noticed a traction increase with studs when riding on the trails. on my studded rev, i took all the studs out (cause 1 came out and wrecked front heat exchanger) and never noticed a traction loss on the trails. i put a ripsaw on my rev and viper and they hook up great and are lighter than a track w/studs, so less rotating mass.
 
ok i will do some testing this winter. i need 3 exaust temp guages and a water temp guage any one know of a good set fo guages or a kit with all the hardwere and all 4 guages. thanks
 
is there any advantages to runing srx head on a piped viper i have a set siting around wondering if i could put them on with mini male work i have an srx baske gaskette. and whould it alow me to run 165MJ across all 3 cylenders.
 
i ran the viper last night an the pto is runing a bit fat im runing a 167.5 what should i switch to i was thinking of droping to a 165. i will post some pics so u can see the plugs.
 
how do you know your running rich? you can't jet a sled on a track stand....it must be ran on the snow, so it has a load on it, and it has to be the normal temp outside that you would normally ride in. you'll have to wait till winter.
 
it was -3 last night and we haed it out on the grass and it was runing a bit rich im doing grass drags this weekend any idea what i should run for jets. didnt know about the races til this after noon. thanks
 
does any one have the automatique altitude comp on there piped viper i say it on a sled in the trader and id liek to know if it works good or is it werth the money and how does it work.
 
Where are you running the Viper?? Is it anywhere near Espanola?? When arwe you running?? May be interested in bringing out a couple of sleds to have some fun with..
 
i have a field next door i run it in i need to do some seting up still but that would be sweet to do i live right in espanola. i will keep in touch
 
will 02 srx heads bolt right on to my viper with the stock head gasket or do the 02 srx heads have o-rings?????
