2001 cdi box dcs question

If I replaced my 2002 cd box with a 2001 would that mean I no long have to run the dcs? I see the stator had 2 different part #'s originally but now the fiche shows the 2001 taking the same stator as the 2002.

didnt look at the wiring but make sure the wiring will give power and ground to the same place if u do the switch..about the stator i think 98-99 are the same and 2000-01-02 are the same but cdi have change in every years so take a good look at it

I just talked to Hauck. He says it will work fine.

its possible if its the same wiring routine and they only add wired for dcs it will work for sure
