I would stay stock. before I moved from the vmax4 to the srx my friend John was running srx's. Back to back runs on turkey pond in nh and the stock can was faster...he even called bender and asked what he was doing wrong......
Run stock....it keeps trails open and land owners happy!

we did the testing on bender's dyno ( same as jim's ). mid range was +3 h.p. & top was +2. i will post results from the runs on jim's dyno. if you can get your hands on some other aftermarket cans let me know & i will test those also!

WHISH I HAD THAT POWER inc CAN I HAD , I WOULD OF LOVED TO SEND THAT TO YA TO TEST. I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THERE WAS A GAIN, BUT FELT STOCK BOX FELT BETTER. ANYWAYS IT WILL BE COOL WHEN YA POST TEST. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I run the stock pipes with a Dynoport can, and Ill trade the marginal power loss for the amazing sound anytime.
Never gets old when I pull up to gas bars and restaurants, and there's a line-up of people wanting to know what can I run.....thats just me...

thats what i thought when i had my '99 700 srx. with the bender can, i lost that stock suitcase and maybe 2-3hp....so what i still had another 137-138hp...lol.
