peak RPM???

[TJ500]

Since discrepancies between Yamaha's published peak RPM's and actual dyno's, can anyone tell me what the peak RPM is for a:

1) 02 MM 700
2) 99 VMax 500

both are bone stock engines..

02 700 mm will like to run at 83-8600 rpm.
99 vmax 500 likes 7800 rpm.
The 700 with the single pipe; specially the ones made after 01 with the new digital ignition have a real wide powerband!!!

i tuned mine from 8500 to 8800 rpm and found very little difference in power, they are B-R-O-A-D
