can anyone tell me about aftermarket cans for the SRX ,I have a Bender can,"not that loud" I also have a Hauck it's "louder" it's either a howler or growler not shure witch one it is. what I am looking for the one that really screems, where it sounds like your'e running 20,000 rpms, the one you can here two miles away

Yea the hauck stingers are wicked loud, the bender does have a nice tone though, ecspecially at idle. I've read on here that the bender is the only can to not loose power?

there is a reason that those stingers are designated as "race", not for the trail, FOR THE TRACK! i personally hate it when you can hear some a-hole from miles away ruining it for the masses. noise does not make power.

I would never even consider trail riding with pipes that loud, you would not have many friends to ride with and probley get arrested.I want to run them on a private lake, grudge racing, shooting some video's

If you want loud, have a set of straight pipes built with the factory stinger diameter, or call Jaws and get them to make you a set of race stingers.

The hauck stingers r a must for srx trail performance.they r loud, but they also produce ponys. Not many single "cans" do that.

Don't mean to start a match but he hauck stingers are by far slower by quite a bit drag racing and on radar.

i ran hauck growlers on my '99 srx 700 and it seemed to be a little bit slower. also had trouble w/pto plug fouling out. when i had the bender on, it seemed to be fine all over the rpm range.

I had the hauck growlers on my 98... took 'em off after a couple days and put the factory silencer back on, couldn't stand 'em, sled felt slower too. Sounded great, but was a ticket waiting to happen. Obnoxiously LOUD.

one of the bad things about the bender though is where the 3 singers go into the can likes to crack, at least mine did, so i hope your handy with a welder if your running the bender. of course I bought mine from some jack *** though, so it could have partially been his fault, lol, :)

I have the Hauck growlers on my 700, and a bender can on the 600, Bender is quiter, has nice tone, can hear it but not obnoxious. The hauck is louder
especially when your on it, But you cant here it miles away either. I dont feel any difference from the stock can in power, But I dont think I gained anything either other than sound.. I wouldnt want anything louder on the trail, No Problems so far, then again i dont run wide open next to people's homes either.
