save the cash until you can really afford it. are you SURE your job is secure? are you SURE about the economy? the price of gas?? you may end up with a sweet sled you have to sell later and cant afford to ride in the meantime because the $$ you have is going to payments rather than gas in the tank. my opinion, and I always get the most out of my stuff. I run things until they won't go anymore. my 03 viper has a long ways to go, it runs great so far
