I am trying to pull the magneto off my 02 viper and cannot get the 3 allen bolts out that hold on the starter pulley. Any Suggestions? They are not stripped but I have twisted a few allen wrenches trying to get them.
They have loctite on them use a pencil torch and heat them up, then strike them with a impact driver, 90% of the time they will come right out. If you strip out the head the only way to get them out is to use a sharp metal chisel and just strike the edge of the head, this will break them loose. I have done this hundreds of times.
